Hi, I’m Elizabeth!
My name is Elizabeth Gomez. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and have been in practice for over 8 years. My specialty is in the treatment of anxiety, depression and sleep disturbances. I am certified and well trained in traditional medicine practices and provide unique, nontraditional and scientifically backed, complementary therapies that can improve your overall health, as well as have a significant impact on the end goal of mental wellbeing.
Mente Behavioural Health is my private practice and I want my patients to feel safe and listened to. It’s important for them to be involved in their care and feel in control of their journey. My priority is to help patients achieve their goals and increase satisfaction within their mental health.
My Training
- I trained at MGH Institute of Health Professions (2015 Graduate).
- My experience ranges from working in family practice, community health and urgent care.
- I am credentialed with the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
My Story
I was privileged to practice family health for many years, then in 2021, at the height of the COVID pandemic, I made the shift to work more with mental health when there was a dire need. I became immersed in learning more about the brain and how it works with our consciousness, and I found so much had been discovered even in the short time since I finished graduate school. I realize there is so much more work to be done, which is why I created Mente Behavioral Health.
My Promise
I am committed to providing effective evidence based medical care, combined with an integrative approach. My life’s work is my commitment to working collaboratively with patients, and other providers on their care team, to carry out a thoughtful and personalized care plan.
